AttorneyOS Terms of Service

These Terms govern access to and use of AttorneyOS, a practice-management platform for law firms. By creating a workspace or using AttorneyOS, the firm and its authorised users agree to use the platform lawfully, responsibly and only for legitimate legal-practice operations.

1. Service scope

AttorneyOS provides tools for matter management, client records, tasks, diary events, documents, billing, trust-record support, research records, workflows, reports and team permissions. AttorneyOS supports recordkeeping and operational control; it does not replace professional legal judgement, regulatory duties or independent compliance review.

2. Firm responsibility

The firm remains responsible for the accuracy of all information entered into AttorneyOS, the conduct of its users, client communications, trust-account decisions, billing decisions and compliance with applicable professional, privacy and financial obligations.

3. Users and permissions

Firm owners and administrators are responsible for creating users, assigning roles, granting permissions and removing access when a user no longer requires access.

4. Documents and data

AttorneyOS provides structured storage and permission-checked access controls. Firms must ensure that uploaded documents are appropriate, lawful and backed up according to their own risk-management requirements.

5. Billing and trust records

Billing and trust-ledger tools are provided for practice administration and audit-readiness support. AttorneyOS does not guarantee compliance with the Legal Practice Act, rules of professional conduct, tax law, accounting rules or any other regulatory framework.

6. Acceptable use

Users may not misuse the platform, attempt unauthorised access, upload malicious files, interfere with service integrity or use AttorneyOS for unlawful purposes.
